Low End Theory April Podcast

To get you in the mood for the upcoming summer we dug deep in our special 'Roots' crates for this months podcast.

Like all of our podcasts this months comes with special instructions;
Got it? Good, now on to the goodies

First up this month is a special Low End intro followed by the great David Isaacs with Who to Tell. Next it's Clancy Eccles with Fattie Fattie. We follow that with another Low End interlude into the Creations with Mix Up Girl. Coming out of contest jumble is Johnny Clarke with Enter Into His Gates With Praise. Winston Rodney AKA Burning Spear follows up with Red, Gold and Green - Oh that voice! Another great voice sneaks in for a short visit - Horace Andy and the Aggrovators with A Noisy Place leading into Scientist with Stalag 17 twist up. Joe the Boss lets us know where exactly we are 'Life on Reggae Planet'.  Rico & the Rhythm Aces with The Return of the Bullet is up next with Dice and Cummie arguing about getting the short end of the draw with Free the Weed. I think they must be Emerson fans. Rico & the Rudies comes next with Brixton. Kingstonians lay down some serious get up and go reggae with Sufferers. Pioneers and Reggae Fever keeps up the pace with Derrick Morgan and Copy Cat. The late great Peter Tosh and Arise Black Man leads into the second coming of Horace Andy and Collie Weed, another Emerson fan. We take a short trip to England to hook up a with Bullwackies find Love Joys and How Long - more from them in future podcasts. Marcia Griffiths - how can you do a roots podcast without one of the I-threes? Marcia covers Low End Beatle favourite Don't Let Me Down. Yes I! Mr Lovers Rock himself Gregory Isaacs asks us to Set the Captives Free. Symarip with Skinhead Moon Stomp makes sure you are still up and dancing. We end this month with the song that has been teasing the whole time - Israel Vibration and Lost Souls

Now refill the cooler and rewind selecta!
